Summary
Sketchbook with marbled cover, red spine and corners, a sticker applied to the front with a '5' handwritten in black ink, and the remains of a blue ribbon tie. Contains a series of sketches of ecclesiastical buildings and features with annotations mainly in pencil and occasionally in ink, each double page spread numbered, one of three sketch books belonging to the Rev. William Grey, father of the 9th Earl of Stamford, containing sketches mainly of ecclesiastical buildings and details.
