Summary
Envelope with shaped flap and on which is written in pencil 'flags and long soldiers', part of a collection of rectangular envelopes, some containing scraps, contained in green cardboard box (DUN/TOY/263, a), lid missing, 'The Wolsley unshrinkable women's white wool bodices, short sleeves', with further paper scraps, a small plain pair of steel scissors, and cardboard strip with three hooks and seven eyes stitched in place.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
