Two pieces from picture packing cases, wooden slats fixed together with batons; (a) with an address label printed with, 'Valuable Pictures, With Great Care, To Be Kept Dry, From Gooden & Fox Ltd., 57 Pall Mall, London, S.W.1', and addressed to The Rt. Honble The Earl of Stamford, Dunham Massey Hall, Altrincham, Will be collected for at Warrington (Bank Quay Station)'; 'L.M.&S. Ry Passenger, 1.30 train from Euston, 15.7.26'. Also with three red and white London Midland and Scottish Railway parcel stamps amounting to £1/2s/3d; (b) stamped Great Care, fragile, keep dry, and with a printed address label for R. Dolman & Son, framemakers to the National Gallery, 6 New Compton Street, Soho, London.
