Summary

Pen and ink, on paper, The Old Water Mill, Dunham Massey by T. Hobson (fl.1950). Framed items including a pen and ink drawing of 'The Old Water Mill, Dunham Park (Built 1616)', signed T. Hobson, 1950, a smaller version of the image made into a card with the lines, 'Wishing you a Merry Christmas / and a Happy New Year from Mr. and Mrs T. Hobson' with their address, and a paper item on which is signed 'Stamford, 28th December 1949'. Both drawing and card feature the verse: Although its wheel has ceased to turn, / It's working days now gone, / It still - to many - brings delight / and gives offence to none'. In black moulded glazed frame with picture string and two rings on reverse.
