Summary
One of four empty narrow green glass bottles of Bernkasteler Doktor, a Mosel wine, produced by Deinhard & Co., Koblenz. This bottle is a 1950 vintage and has the remains of a burgundy-coloured label around the neck and a label at the base of the neck with the vintage and picture of Hans Christof Deinhard, Anno 1650.
Provenance
Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
