Summary
Miscellaneous assortment of items found in drawer of bureau F/16, including: newspaper cutting with handwritten ink annotations including the date 'Oct 12. 1946'; blue and cream 20 pfennig stamp, 'Deutches Reich', the bowl from a clay pipe; a rust red ribbon, the ends knotted together; a small ivory bobbin; four rectangular pencil erasers, one long and narrow and one marked 'WHS', the others in poor condition; a curved fragment of papier mache (?), black lacquer, with narrow gold band around rim, gold floral and foliate decoration, and a groove around the top of the rim suggesting the original piece may have had a lid; a narrow, sticky, rectangular piece of black resin, probably pitch, melted at one end and with the letters'"GEM..."' (possibly used to make the face and feet of pen wipe doll DUN/MISC/58); piece of black string/cord with hook at one end and fittings on other end, covered at both ends in a brown sticky substance; part of a rubber STAMFORD HOSPITAL stamp stained with ink; paper fastener, drawing pins, three paper clips, circular metal disc, brass ring with string/cord attached, wooden pencil (refill?) and half of a Langdale's Compressed Cinnamon Tablet.
