Summary

Cylindrical case for single ring with brass hinge and hook and eye fastening; covered in maroon leather with embossed grain, with blind line borders and domed top to lid. Lined with off-white satin and velvet. Supplied by T. Reed & Son, Cambridge.

Provenance

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
