Summary
Dressmaker's dummy (or possibly for retail display) by the French Bust Company, Goodge Street, London, set up by Gems Studio in 1912 (established by Julius Gems in 1885); textile-covered torso with the shoulder of one arm (for arm see DUN/TC/678), on turned, dark stained/painted wood stand with circular base and manufacturers label.
