Label inside back of neck 'Tom Brown, Tailor, 48 Conduit Street, London W.1. and at Eton', and handwritten 'Earl of Stamford'.
Provenance
This could have belonged to either the 9th Earl of Stamford (1850-1910) or 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976) but because of the shorter length compared with dated garments belonging to the 10th Earl, this and DUN/TC/208 almost certainly belonged to the 9th Earl.
