Coronation robe (female) mantle, crimson silk velvet, lining white silk plain weave taffeta; trimming, cape white minerva with three rows of tails, edging white minerva 70 mm, double layer of cream cotton machine embroidered lace (185 mm), design of repeating leaf sprays on spotted mesh ground. See DUN/TC/131.1-13. Label under hood 'Ede, Son and Ravenscroft Est 1689, Robe Makers Court Tailors by Special App to the King, 93 - 94 Chancery Lane W.C.', handwritten label 'Countess of Stamford'.
