Coronation robe (male) mantle, crimson silk velvet, lining white silk plain weave taffeta; trimming, cape with turn down collar, minerva fur with three rows of tails, front opening edged with white fur, cream petersham ribbon 35 mm; with surcoat (DUN/TC/130.2). Label under hood 'Ede, Son and Ravenscroft Est 1689, Robe Makers Court Tailors by Special App to the King, 93 - 94 Chancery Lane W.C.', handwritten label 'Earl of Stamford'.
