Summary

Hot water cosy. Fabric, cream wool felt; embroidery, wool dyed three shades pink, three shades yellow, three shades blue, two shades blue/green, two shades green, brown in buttonhole stitch and French knots, two shades green silk in stem and fly stitch; design, stylised flower spray; lining, cream cotton twill weave brushed; structure, hand and machine sewn, buttonholed loop and bottom edge. Handwritten note by Lady Stamford 'New Hot Water Cosy for best Guest Bedroom.'
