Front: Hortum Bodnantensum nactus exornavit In Loving Memory of Charles Melville 3rd Baron Aberconway 16th April 1913 4th February 2003 He inherited his father's passion for the Garden at Bodnant. For another fifty years he developed it with skill and flair and en- hanced it with fresh vistas and imaginative planting. His intellect, wit and sense of humour inspired all whome he met and his talents benefited many businesses and horti- cultural enterprises. He was President of the Royal Horticultural Society from 1962-1984 He was a man, take him for all in all I shall not look upon his like again
