Brocade chair bar. Fabric, purple silk warp, gold silk weft and purple linen weft, brocade woven ribbon 170 mm; design, ecclesiastical, quatrefoil motifs enclosing flowers and each joined by a cross crosslet between borders; lining red baste fibre (?), plain weave (tabby), glazed; structure, wooden form only, handsewn.
