Caption
This model of a Jersey cow is one of a set of three miniature taxidermies given to the 7th Earl of Stamford and Warrington by his cousin, Lady Jane Walsh in 1826. The model is covered in real cow hide, but we do not know what the framework is made of. The other animals are a donkey and a fallow deer buck.
