Summary
Slim, round, glass bottle with short neck, silver screw cap hallmarked, stamped with an earl's coronet and stuffed with a small amount of cotton wool, and small glass stopper. There is a small, cream paper label with black print applied to the front of the bottle: 'Floris's / Eau de Cologne / Distilled by / J. FLORIS / 89 JERMYN STREET / LONDON', and a brown residue in the bottom of the bottle. One of a collection of vertically faceted glass bottles and jars with silver lids stamped 'Fs. Ld.' and hallmarked London 1916/17, belonging in tan crocodile skin travelling case by Finnigans, Manchester, c. 1917, each contained within bespoke compartments (DUN/L/6).
