Summary
One of a pair of softwood chests for coronation robes, each with an interior partition for coronet. Made by Ede and Son, Ravenscroft. One has a brass plate inscribed 'Countess of Stamford' and the other with brass plate inscribed 'Earl of Stamford'.

Stamford collection; devised to the National Trust by Roger Grey, 10th Earl of Stamford (1896-1976).
