Summary
Fragment of a sporting gun, English (?), 19th century. The butt (probably walnut) of a sporting gun in relic condition. Part of an engraved trigger-guard tang remaining. Comb inletted for butt-plate tang (missing). Part of the butt-plate fixing screw remaining.
