Summary
A flame mahogany secretaire a abbatant, French, circa 1815, with removable black Belgian marble top and concealed frieze drawer, the fall-front enclosing a leather surface and mirror-back interior with columns and five small drawers and a secret compartment within, above a pair of cupboard doors enclosing three drawers, all flanked by projecting columns with engine-turned decoration top and bottom, on plinth, the English lock stamped MORDAN, Castle Street, Finsbury, London.
