Summary
Drawing, pencil and chalk on paper, A study of the head of Robert Harry Inglis by George Richmond RA (Brompton 1809 – London 1896). The full length oil painting for which this drawing was a study is displayed at the Bodleian Library. Richmond noted: "In 1832 I drew Sir R. Inglis for 3 gns, in 1854 I painted him for 300 guineas. This study (as per Raymond Lister) was "for Sir T. Acland" at a cost of £31.10 in 1854.
