Drawing pencil tinted with watercolour, Sir Charles Dyke Acland, 8th/12th Baronet of Columb-John, MP (1842-1919) by Henry Tanworth Wells, RA (Marylebone 1828 - Kensington 1903). The son of Sir Thomas Dyke Acland 11th Bt. (1809-1898) and Mary Mordaunt (d.1851) the daughter of Sir Charles Mordaunt Bt. He married in 1879, Gertrude Walrond the daughter of Sir John Walrond, 1st Bt. From a collection of portrait drawings of members of the Grillion Club, London.
