Drawing, John Stuart-Wortley-McKenzie, 2nd Baron Wharncliffe (1801-1855) by Joseph Slater (1782- Brighton 1837). The son of James Archibald Stuart-Wortley-McKenzie, 1st Baron Wharncliffe. He married Georgiana Elizabeth Ryder. He was elected MP for Perth, Bossiney and South West Riding of York respectively. His public appointments include Secretary to the Board of Control and Under-Secretary of State for War and the Colonies. From a set of portrait drawings of members of the Grillion Club, London. No.17
