Drawing, Henry Labouchere, 1st Baron Taunton (1798-1869) by Joseph Slater (1782- Brighton 1837). Politician. Son of Peter Caesar Labouchere. He married (i) Frances Baring and (ii) Lady Mary Matilda Georgiana Howard. He was elected MP for Mitchell and Taunton respectively. His appointments included President for the Board of Trade, Chief Secretary for Ireland and Colonial Secretary. From a set of portrait drawings of members of the Grillion Club, London.
