Summary
Drawing, pencil and chalk on paper, William Bingham Baring, 2nd Baron Ashburton, PC, DCL (1799-1864) by George Richmond (1809-1896). He was the son of Alexander Baring, 1st Baron Ashburton and Anne Louise Bingham. He married (i) Lady Harriet Mary Montagu and (ii) Louisa Caroline Mackenzie. He was MP for Thetford, Callington, Winchester and North Staffordshire and was appointed Secretary to the Board of Control and Paymaster General.
