Drawing, pencil and chalk on paper, John William Ward, 1st Earl of Dudley, Viscount Dudley and Ward, Viscount Ednam, FRS (1781-1833) by Joseph Slater (1782- Brighton 1837). The son of William Ward, 3rd Viscount Dudley and Julia Bosville. He was unmarried. He became a Privy Councillor, an MP and made Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs. From a set of portrait drawings of members of the Grillion Club, London. No.18.
