Drawing, pencil and chalk on paper, Dudley Ryder, 2nd Earl of Harrowby, 2nd Viscount Sandon, KG, PC, FRS, DCL, MP (1798-1882) by Joseph Slater (1782- Brighton 1837). Elected MP for Tiverton and Liverpool respectively. He was the son of Dudley Ryder, 1st Earl of Harrowby and Lady Susan Leveson-Gower. He married Lady Frances Stuart. His public appointments included Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster and Lord Privy Seal. From set of portrait drawings of members of the Grillion Club, London. No.56.
