Brannum & Sons, Barum Pottery, Barnstaple, Devon, with the inscription painted in slip ‘From the Acland Estates / Landkey / With Congratulations and Best Wishes / To Sir Francis and Lady Acland / On The Occasion Of / Their Silver Wedding / 1905 to 1930’ (921406). The reverse has an incised Chinese or Japanese style hawk perhaps a reference to the Acland crest of a falcon. Presented by the tenants of Landkey, nr. Bideford.
