Summary

Rod storage case - A long rectangular pine travelling case with hinged lid. Stained mahogany coloured varnish finish. Fitted with 2 x 2 lever locks, steel banding and a pair of leather straps and carrying handle. Note; brass plate on lid inscribed; J.C.Drew.

Provenance

This item forms part of the original Drewe family collection at Castle Drogo. It was transferred to the National Trust in 2008.
