Stopper for one of a pair of decanters (small size); part of a large set of amber coloured glass tableware, with white, Renaissance style, enamelled decoration, made in Murano, Venice, Italy, about 1894.
Provenance
This item forms part of the original Drewe family collection at Castle Drogo. It was transferred to the National Trust in 2008 and was originally bought on honeymoon by Julius Drewe.
