Summary
Cardboard and blue cloth wallet from the photographic studio of C. Silvy, 38, Porchester Terrace, Bayswater, containing nine (ten with LAN.PH.1574?) carte-de-visite size photographs of the Hon. Thomas Charles Agar-Robartes in four different poses, LAN.PH.1635.1-9, addressed to T.C.Agar Robartes Esq./Lanhydrock/Bodmin. There is a red one penny stamp in the bottom left hand corner.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and who continued to live in the house until his death in 1966.
