A small and slightly faded photograph of the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, in uniform; one of four photographs contained in a small black leather and gilt folding frame, (890426 ). The photograph has the inventory number LAN.PH.5 as all photographs have individual numbers. .
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there until his death in 1966. He worked in the Foreign Office for the duration of the War.
