Summary
A letter to Lord Clifden from A.C. Robbins, in an envelope addressed to The Hon. The Viscount Clifden M.V.O., Lanhydrock, Bodmin, dated and stamped 19 April 1950 Northwood, Middlesex with a purple 3d. stamp with head of Queen Elizabeth II. Containing a collection of eight photographs taken by Mr. A.C. Robbins, F.R.A.S., during a visit to Lord Clifden at Lanhydrock, April 1950.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966 who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there with his two sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966. This collection of photographs, with letter from Mr. A.C. Robbins, was found in a box in the Attics
