Summary
A small and very faded photograph of the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, later Captain, the Hon. Tommy Agar-Robartes, M.P., 1880-1915, in uniform; one of four photographs contained in a small black leather and gilt folding frame, much worn and strengthened with black tape, (885123, LAN.D.556). The photograph has the inventory number LAN.PH.5321 as all photographs have individual numbers.
Provenance
A gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there with his two sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966. His brother, the Hon. Victor Agar-Robartes, later the 8th Viscount Clifden, 1887-1974, never lived at Lanhydrock after his marriage.
