Summary
Black and white half length studio portrait of a woman, probably one of Mary Dickinson's sisters, wearing a dark square necked evening dress and a choker around her neck, her hair wound on top of her head. Photographer Harry Vande Weyle. Also listed under LAN.PH.5021 as all photographs have individual PH inventory numbers. See also 882233 taken at the same sitting. Red leather folding case with four panels. Each window has gilt decoration. There are three cabinet cards with albumen prints in the first, second and fourth windows. 5019 is by E. Provenance
A gift of the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust and continued to live there with his two sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
