Provenance
This photograph taken for the National Trust showing the house open to the public after the death of the Hon. Everilda Agar-Robartes in 1969. Lanhydrock House had been given to the NT by her brother, the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1885-1966, in 1953, but he and his two sisters had continued to live there until 1969. His brother, the Hon. Victor Agar-Robartes, later the 8th Viscount Clifden, 1887-1974, did not want to live at Lanhydrock.
