A professional photograph of Winchester Cathedral partially hidden by large conifers with wall behind and building with sash windows and tall chimneys on left hand side. Lawn in foreground. Contained in a brown leather photograph album with tooled pattern on spine and front and back covers containing thirty six pages with gold blocked edges and holding seventy six photographs. c.1900
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966. The family were great travellers and travelled throughout Europe.
