Summary
A studio portrait, half length, of a young man, probably Edmund, one of Mary Dickinson's brothers, sitting sideways on upholstered chair, his left arm over the back, his right hand on his knee. He wears light coloured tweed-style jacket which is fastenend, and light coloured trousers and a pale wide tie. He has moustache and sideburns. Plain background. 1877 . See also 890102.9. Contained in a tan coloured leather photograph album, elaborately tooled in black with brass clasp and containing twenty five gilt edged pages with eighty photographs, some of the Dickinson family. c. 1870
