Summary
A studio photograph of a dark haired young man, possibly one of Mary Dickinson's brothers, sitting in a chair, his right leg crossed over his left, a hat held in his lap. He wears a.light tweed suit, the trousers with a stitched outside seam, a white shirt and wing collar and a dark tie. The seat of the chair is fringed and there is an ornate front panel above the turned stretchers. Plain background, patterned carpet. Contained in a tan coloured leather photograph album, elaborately tooled in black with brass clasp and containing twenty five gilt edged pages with eighty photographs, some of the Dickinson family. c. 1870
