Summary
A faded black leather bound album, embossed in diamond pattern with gold tooling and with brass clasp, the spine badly damaged and largely missing. The album contains twenty three double pages all with either single or four shaped mounts per page, some decorated with flora and fauna, and holds forty nine photographs, some of the mounts being empty. c.1880
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966. The album is thought to have belonged to Mary Dickinson, later Viscountess Clifden, containing family photographs.
