A photograph of nineteen men seated, some on benches others on the grass, in front of cricket pavilion. The Hon. Thomas Charles Agar-Robartes, later 6th Viscount Clifden, 1844-1881, far left middle row, wearing striped shirt and white band around hat. c.1845-50 A copy of this is framed in Billiard Room, LAN.D.38.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953 and continued to live there with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
