Summary
A photograph by Messrs. Stearn, Cambridge, of an open topped car, registration no. [ ]993 belonging to The Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, in a low ceiling garage with beams and a brick floor. The car has had its back wheels removed and these lie on the floor and one of the front mud guards is folded back and the front wheels have no tyres. Also the number plate is half off. Spare parts hang on the walls and there is a crate with 'RUSHMORE LAMPS' stamped on it and a work light sits on the top. c.1913 See also 889928.10. Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, who was at Magdelene College, Cambridge, 1911-1914. and was given to the National Trust in 1953 by the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who continued to live at Lanhydrock with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
