Summary
A photograph of a large group of young men and women in evening dress outside a university college.The front two rows are seated on the ground and on chairs. The Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, is in the row third from the back and ninth from the right. c.1912 Contained in a large red and gold photograph album, inscribed C.E.A-R. 1911-1914.
Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, who was at Magdelene College, Cambridge, 1911-1914. and was given to the National Trust in 1953 by the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who continued to live at Lanhydrock with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
