Summary
A photograph of two young men in an open top car, registration number LA [ ], at the edge of an open space, possibly a playing field, with trees in the distance. The Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes is behind the wheel, his companion sits beside him with his left arm resting on the car door. Exhaust fumes can be seen coming out of the back of the car. Contained in a large red and gold photograph album, inscribed C.E.A-R. 1911-1914.
Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, who was at Magdelene College, Cambridge, 1911-1914. and was given to the National Trust in 1953 by the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who continued to live at Lanhydrock with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
