Summary
A photograph by Messrs. Stearn, Cambridge, of another view of the open topped car, registration no. [ ]993 belonging to the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, in a low ceiling garage with beams and a brick floor. The car has had its back wheels removed and the front wheels have no tyres. The padded back of the seat is lying in the back of the car and the door is leaning aginst the running board and a tyre leans aains the side. A pile of tyres leans agains the wall on the right of the photograph and a wide ladder leans against the far wall. Spare parts hang on the walls. c.1913 See also 889928.9. Provenance
This album belonged to the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, who was at Magdelene College, Cambridge, 1911-1914. and was given to the National Trust in 1953 by the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, later 7th Viscount Clifden, 1883-1966, who continued to live at Lanhydrock with his sisters, Everilda and Violet, until his death in 1966.
