Studio photograph, half length, of Alexandra of Denmark, Princess of Wales, 1844-1925, showing a young woman in decollete dress with tiara and veil, elaborate necklaces and decorations pinned to her dress. c.1870 One of sixteen photographs in folding red and gilt leather frame which has become broken into four parts, each containing four photographs.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
