Summary
Studio photograph, half length, of Alexandra of Denmark, Princess of Wales, 1844-1925, showing a young woman sitting in chair, wearing a pale dress printed with floral sprigs and banded sleeves with pearl necklaces and snake bracelets on both arms. c.1870 One of sixteen photographs in folding red and gilt leather frame which has become broken into four parts, each containing four photographs.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
