Summary
An oval tinted studio photograph, threequarter length, of a young woman, Mary Dickinson, later Viscountess Clifden, 1853-1921, with her hair in a plaited chignon, sitting next to a table, a piece of paper in her hand. She wears a dark brown dress with fur trimmings and a high white collar with brooch on black ribbon. c.1878 In free standing brass frame with extra hinged front, glass missing (?).

A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
