Summary
An oval studio photograph, half length, of a young man wearing dark coat, paler waistcoat, tweed trousers and a large checked cravat and tie pin; he has a ring on his little finger of his left hand. He is sitting on a chair with his right hand in his pocket and his left arm over the back of the chair. c.1860 Double white and gold mount with black slip and leatherette as frame.
Provenance
Possibly a gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953.
