Summary
Photograph of a three-quarter length portrait by George Richmond R.A. in 1876, of Juliana, daughter of the Rt. Honble Reginald Pole-Carew, wife of Thomas James, lst Lord Robartes. It shows her sitting in chair with her hands in her lap and wearing high necked dress with pale frill around neck and wrists. The portrait hangs in the Outer Hall at Lanhydrock.
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953, and remained living in the house until his death in 1966.
