Summary
Studio photograph, full length, of two young boys with cheeks touching. The older boy, the Hon. Cecil Agar-Robartes, 1892-1939, sits on a table on the right of the photograph and wears a pale jacket with large buttons and matching breeches, lace edged shirt with wide collar; his younger brother, the Hon. Alexander Agar-Robartes, 1895-1930, stands beside him with his right arm around the older boy's neck and wears a belted coat with wide collar and cuffs. c.1898
Provenance
A gift from the Hon. Gerald Agar-Robartes, 7th Viscount Clifden, who gave Lanhydrock to the National Trust in 1953, and remained living in the house until his death in 1966.
